Little Bitty Pretty One
Well, we had a pretty good weekend. Friday we didn’t do much of anything. Saturday, we got up reasonably early and went to BJs for some stuff we needed (mostly diapers and formula). After we got home, we got ready and went to the neighborhood pool party. It was nice. There were lots of people there. It wasn’t too hot, but, then, we sat in the shade. :) Good thing we got there early! After that, we went to the grocery store. When we got home, Emily was asleep in the car seat, so after we got the groceries and her inside, Chris took a nap on the sofa and I went upstairs to read. I fell asleep too! We got up later and had a light dinner. (We’d eaten WAY too much at the cookout!) Emily did pretty well.
Emily only woke up once during the night, but she woke up for the day on Sunday at 6am! Yikes! She went back to sleep around 8 or so and we got to nap another hour. We had breakfast and then we mowed the lawn. My parents came over around noon and we all visited. Emily actually took a nice nap while they were there and Chris and my dad put up two sets of blinds. My mom and I hung some pictures in the study. For dinner, we went out to eat with Chris and Tracy (and family) at Cedars Taverna, a Mediterranean restaurant on the next exit. Emily was SO good. She was barely fussy at all! When she was fussy, first it was her diaper and then she was hungry. Both easily fixed. She was smiling like crazy, flirting with Jordan! She went to sleep last night around 8:30pm and slept through the night!!! When we got up this morning she was sleeping on her belly. Freaked me out! That makes me so nervous. But she was breathing and all was good. She ate about 5oz this morning and Chris was still feeding her when I went to sit on the couch for a few minutes before I went to work. She threw up ALL the formula. It went EVERYwhere! She was perfectly content after she’d done it though! Silly girl.
