Random Thoughts
Primrose had a photographer come in and do some pictures for the 4th of July. We got them back yesterday and they’re adorable! They’re the sepia tone and fantastic! I got this whole package for $28 and I didn’t have to go out of my way to take her anywhere or even be the one to get her to smile. Wow!

People just drive me crazy with the things they say. This lady at work comes into my office to beg some of my popcorn and while she’s standing there, she sees the picture of Emily on my desk so she starts talking about her. She asks if she’s crawling yet. Umm..no. Then she says, “She’s sitting up pretty good now, isn’t she?” So I tell her no and she starts in on how Emily is “lazy” and “mommy and daddy are doing too much for her” blah, blah, blah. She’s criticizing MY parenting when she just got finished telling me her daughter was arrested?? Umm..yeah…I don’t think so.

We’re doing a M&M Family day this weekend. It’s at a Butterfly Festival or something. I’m not too clear on it, but it sounds like fun. :)

I think I’ll go home this afternoon and “make” Emily some bananas. Should be fun. I wonder if they mind if we bring homemade food for Emily into daycare? I’ll have to ask today.

Someone named “Amber Lynn” signed up for a bunch of travel/vacation info using our address, so we keep getting stuff. We got this one thing the other day for condo/house rentals in the Florida panhandle. I think we’re gonna do this for next summer. That’s what we had been doing with friends at OBX, but the house was the husband’s mother’s, so we didn’t pay anything. She sold it last year, so no more free vacations. :) I’d love it if we could do that for next summer and invite Chris and Tracy and Co to come with us and pay for it all ourselves. It’s seriously not expensive! Some prices I saw were for $1000 for the whole week and the house would sleep 10 people! That’s only $100 per person! Less that $15 per day! You can’t get much better than that unless you’re camping and who wants to do that? :)
